information for the interclass GIRLS games. This post is only for the 1n2 girls to read, there will be a inter-class game on 14/4/09 (Tues) 2.3opm let's start with the rules Rules for 2009 Inter-Class game. (GIRLS) General Rules - 8 vs 8 (all girls) - 10 minutes per half. (30 seconds half time break and changing of sides) - Rolling substitution. ( by any girl from the participating class) can only take place after a goal has been scored. - Each team must report 5 minutes before the game starting time. - If a class cannot make up a team of 8 members (all girls), 5 minutes after the starting time, it will be considered as a walkover. - For classes with less than 8 girls, 1 boy can be substituted for 2 girls. (i.e: the team will consist of 6 girls plus 1 boy) - The boy participant is not allowed to score. - The referees will not tolerate any rough play. Any players guilty of such will be sent off and be banned from taking part in the championship. - In all situations not mentioned above, the referees' decision is final. Any players who disputes and show disrespect to the referees will be sent off and be banned from taking in the championship. Play - Game will start via a toss-up by referee. - Any player holding the ball has maximum 5 seconds to pass the ball. The referee will blow the whistle for change of possession if the player violates this rule. - An opponent must stay at least 1m away from the ball carrier. - An opponent is not allowed the slap or grab the ball away from a player holding the ball. - A player is allowed to intercept any passes. - If a ball goes out of bounds, the opposing team will take the throw in. Scoring - To score, pass the ball (chest pass/overhead pass/lob pass) to any team member standing within the scoring zone. - Any bounce pass or rolling of the ball into the scoring zone will render the score as invalid. -The catcher must catch the ball "cleanly" from the passer (i.e: she drops the ball to the ground, the goal is invalid) - The catcher can be any member from the team and does not need to stay in the end zone. - After every score, the opposing team will restart the ball from their own zone. - If a game is drawn at the end of time, the game will go into sudden death.
